Terms and Conditions Vouchers

These terms and conditions (hereinafter the 'Terms and Conditions') apply to any redeemed voucher code (hereinafter ‘Voucher’) that is accepted in the Fastned app (hereinafter the ‘Fastned App’), as further set out below. The Fastned App is owned and operated by Fastned B.V., a private limited company incorporated under Dutch law, has its registered office in Amsterdam at Amstelplein 44 (1096 BC) and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 54606179 (hereinafter ‘Fastned’). These Terms and Conditions apply to any Voucher issued by any affiliate of Fastned and apply in addition to Fastned’s general Terms of Use. Details of all Fastned’s affiliates can be found here.

1. General Information 

   1. Fastned offers two types of Vouchers: one that provides a monetary value in charging credit (hereinafter ‘Voucher for Charging Credit’) and one that grants a discount for a specified number of months (hereinafter ‘Voucher for Discount Period’). 

      1. Voucher for Charging Credit
         1. When redeeming a Voucher for Charging Credit in the Fastned App you will be presented with the general details of the Voucher, such as its monetary value in charging credit (hereinafter ‘Charging Credit’), the expiration date, the country where the Charging Credit can be used, as well as a link to these Terms and Conditions. By redeeming the Voucher, you agree to these terms.
            
            
         2. After redeeming the Voucher for Charging Credit, the Charging Credit is added to your Fastned App account (hereinafter the ‘Account’).
            
            
         3. You can only use Charging Credit if you have activated a valid payment method in your Account (either an EV charge card or a debit/credit card). Depending on your chosen payment method, your Charging Credit will be consumed as follows:
            
            1. If your payment method is an EV charge card, the Charging Credit can only be  consumed if it can fully cover the purchase amount. If the purchase amount exceeds the available Charging Credit, it cannot be used for payment.
            2. If your payment method is a debit or credit card, the Charging Credit will be fully consumed first. If the purchase amount exceeds the available Charging Credit, the remaining share will be billed to your debit or credit card.
               
               
      2. The Charging Credit can only be used for charging sessions within the country as specified in the general details of the Voucher.
         
         
      3. The Charging Credit is valid from the moment of redemption and expires per the expiration date, as specified in the general details of the Voucher.
         
         
      4. Voucher for Discount Period
         1. When redeeming a Voucher for a Discount Period (e.g. based on the Fastned Gold Member subscription) in the Fastned App, you will be presented with the general details of the Voucher, such as the discount percentage, the number of months of discount period included (hereinafter ‘Discount Period’) and a link to these Terms and Conditions. By redeeming the Voucher, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
         2. After redeeming the Voucher, the Discount Period is activated on your Account and remains valid for the number of months specified in the Voucher.
         3. The discount only applies if you have activated a debit or credit card as payment method. Payments via EV charge card are not eligible for the discount.
         4. The Voucher for a Discount Period is valid from the moment of redemption and automatically ends after the set duration, as specified in the general details of the Voucher. 

2. Non-transferability, non-refundability 

1. Vouchers, Charging Credit and/or Discount Period are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 
   
   

3. Unauthorized use

   1. Fastned is not responsible nor liable for unauthorized use of Vouchers,Charging Credit and/or Discount Period by someone else than you.
      
      

4. Fraud Prevention

   1. Fastned reserves the right to refuse the redemption of Vouchers and/or consumption of Charging Credit and/or Discount Period when it suspects fraud or misuse.
      
      

5. Governing Law

1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of territory of the Voucher (for Voucher for Charging Credits) or in accordance with the laws of the country you reside (for Voucher for a Discount Period).
