Fastned starts subscription to new bonds

Fastned, the European fast-charging company, today begins a subscription to a new bond issue. Proceeds will be used to continue to grow the network in existing and new markets. European regulations supporting the transition to electric driving, such as the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation, will create even more opportunity for Fastned to grow its network across Europe. 

Fastned finished 2024 reporting strong growth in revenue, an increased rate of high-traffic location acquisition, and over half a million active customers served around Europe. With the number of electric vehicles on European roads continuing to rise, Fastned is placing itself in a strong position to succeed over the long-term as a leader in Europe’s fast-charging landscape. With 569 high-traffic locations secured so far, and 346 charging stations operational to date, Fastned is well on its way to achieving its goal of 1,000 stations by 2030. 

In 2024 Fastned raised over €82m from issues of bonds over three separate rounds, with the final tranche in October 2024 contributing €21.5m of that total, all thanks to the support of our loyal investors.
