Fastned confirms Françoise Poggi as new COO during November 2024 EGM
Fastned, the European fast-charging company, has welcomed Françoise Poggi as new Chief Operating Officer and member of the company’s Management Board.
Françoise joins Fastned after seven years with Tesla and brings a wealth of experience in optimising rapidly-scaling operations across international markets. Françoise’s appointment was previously announced in our 18 July 2024 press release and was made official during the company EGM on 29 November 2024.
In 2024, Fastned has made significant progress in expanding its network of charging stations, with over 500 locations either operational or secured for development (as of November 2024) and more prospects under negotiation. As Fastned’s growth rate increases, it is essential to streamline efficient operations to maintain success into the future.
As COO, Françoise will ensure Fastned’s operations continue to provide our award-winning customer experience to drivers across our international network, as the number of EVs on Europe’s roads increases year by year.
Experience and expertise are crucial to maintain the highest standards across our organisation as Fastned develops more high-value locations and serve more EV drivers. Françoise’s top-level insights will be crucial to us as we continue to expand at fast pace, and I am excited to see her impact on our organisation as the EV market matures.
