Fastned, UK’s best-rated electric vehicle charging station operator, brings ultra-rapid charging to Bradford
A brand-new ultra-rapid (300kW) charging hub opens today on Bradford’s outskirts, providing a quick charging boost for up to eight electric drivers at a time travelling between England’s northern cities.
Today, Fastned, the European fast-charging company rated the UK’s best ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging network by What Car?, opens a new charging hub with eight charging positions at Cutler Heights, south-east Bradford.
This brand-new charging hub is located off the A6177 Bradford ring road, bringing greater confidence to EV drivers travelling between Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield and Manchester.
Eight charging bays are supplied with 100% renewable energy, offering drivers up to 300 miles of range in 20 minutes. The launch means Fastned now has 29 hubs in the UK.
Drivers will be able to pick up a cup of coffee while they rest and charge at Java Joe coffee shop, which is located within walking distance from the new charging hub. This hub will be a lifeline for EV drivers and tourists who plan to visit nearby national parks throughout the year.
Fastned’s reliable and easy-to-use ultra-rapid chargers, which offer a range of payment methods, allow drivers to charge with confidence and get back on the road as quickly as possible.
The new charging hub features Fastned’s yellow solar canopies, which help EV drivers locate the site easily and show drivers who have not yet switched to electric that fast charging is available to them. This helps to accelerate the EV transition in the UK as a whole.
Our Cutler Heights charging hub expands our network in the north-west of England and forms an important piece of the charging puzzle in a region with limited ultra-rapid charging. By bringing more charging options to Bradford, we’re helping to support the EV transition in the area and across the UK.
